Rules of Thumb

Rules. It is a nasty word to the new writer. Like Outline. Top selling writers say things and we try to soak them up..glome ...glom /**** Absorb..

For me I spent way to much effort fixated and dreaming this was the way to be great...at writing and golf... what you hate is the thing you need to love....  hating messes with the free flow of thoughts...it can slow down your progress and your enjoyment. Channeling JAMES PATTERSON

Dedicated to saving money and learning to write, I started seeking advice on line for free.

.... the chance to listen to a Master storyteller .... is great. It put so much in perspective.

The thing that was not clear from all my  study, was how to finish an outline? I didn't get it.

Even though it was in Steve Alcorn's works.

... outlining, its a must.... Patterson sold me on his twist....

There is so much more but a detailed draft is the milestone I have never achieved. And I am convinced its got to be the first stop on the road to a Universal Bestseller... not that I care about money or fame....I've lived fine this long with out  it.

I hope to get lots of mileage out of the course . It is motivating.

Thanks James Patterson,

Leon Davis
